A dollar spent in many communities recirculates again and again before it leaves. In Black communities, studies have found it often leaves almost immediately. That gap is not about effort. It is about visibility and connection between the businesses already here.
When we can find each other, we can buy from each other. That is how the dollar stays, and the community grows.
