Verified and current
A directory is only as good as the day it was last checked.
Every business is confirmed against a 7-point standard before it is listed, and every listing carries a dated freshness stamp so the public knows exactly how current it is.
The number no other local directory can show yet: dollars that stay.
The directory now feeds the Dollar Router, the measurement engine that turns Buy-Black from a slogan into a number. It is live today, and circulation data accrues as the community connects its spending to the businesses on this list.
Dollars circulated
Spend routed to verified Black-owned businesses, counted as it moves, not estimated after the fact.
Accruing nowBusinesses supported
How many of the 272 are actually receiving routed community spend, tracked business by business.
Accruing nowLocal jobs held
The employment these businesses sustain, the deeper return on every dollar that stays in the Valley.
RoadmapHonest framing: we do not publish a dollar total we cannot yet stand behind. The engine is live and the numbers are being built the right way, from real transactions, so that when this dashboard reports circulation, funders and press can trust every digit.
Free for the businesses. Built by the community.
There is no fee to be listed. The AABLC Black-Owned Business Directory is verified, maintained, and measured as a public asset for the Greater Lehigh Valley, and it grows every week.
